The information we collect from you as an Activist goal participant
When you create an account or register a goal on the platform, we automatically collect your email address. This is how we store and organize all of the accounts.
When you fulfill your profile, we store and organize any information you enter. We use your information when suggesting new fitness activities you may like or other charities that are similar to your favorite charity. We use your fitness and philanthropic interests to make the Activist experience more personal and engaging by finding and suggesting other activities or charities that you may enjoy.
We use your location for recommending local fitness activities or to connect you with other Activists in your immediate area.
When you email a goal to your friends and family members, we store and organize their email addresses and automatically create an account for them for faster and easier pledging.
We will never display your full name or email address to the public. Your name will be seen as ‘First Name, Last Initial’ to outside viewers. If this is not private enough, please use an alias.


The information we collect from you when you donate
If you donate using the platform, we collect your first and last name, email, credit or debit card details (including card type, card number and expiry date) and billing zip code. We will only use your payment details for the purpose of processing your donation via PayPal. Email newsletters and updates from
We will send you email newsletters and updates; however you can opt-out at any time as all newsletters from include the option to unsubscribe.


Security precautions to protect your information
